I have a list of intersections in Excel. I know how to find them one at a
time using the &, but the mapping wizard does not seem to like
intersections. I tried the header address and intersections, but neither
seemed to work.

I manually entered 36 addresses, exported the push pin set, and tried to use
the mapping wizard to import the file that MapPoint just created into a new
map file. It placed all of the addresses based on their zip codes and not
on the street intersections, even though it created the Excel file.

Address finding, intersections, etc have meant to have had a number of
improvements over the years. Have you tried the free trial of MapPoint
2010? It is a free download from the Microsoft website.

Considering it has data approx. 6 years more up to date than what you
are currently using, it is also more likely to find streets, zipcodes, etc.

I have considered MapPoint 2010, but I was waiting for the 2010 census data.
I have found out that it won't be available for another year, so I may
consider upgrading this year, but will MapPoint 2010 address my problems? I
know I can download and find out myself but if you already know it would
save some time. I am on a deadline.
